TURKEY

Postby Guppanui » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:32 pm

Just a small preview of the upcoming MAAM-SIM TBM/TBF Avenger, also known (affectionately?) as the Turkey... Only one shot for now, although more may yet appear...
Compression has not been kind to this shot, I must say...

Wow, that 3d model looks pretty stunning! Also, I can see why they call it a Turkey - it looks like one. :P

Looks really nice ... I know the MAAM DC-3 and that is very good, so if this is up to the same standards it must be very god too. From the screenshot it already look very nice!

Nice looking aircraft.  Is this airplane going to be available for download to work in FSX. I have it in FS2004.  Tried to see if it would work in FSX. No way. It's there, but invisible.  ;D Did you ever try to fly an airplane that you can't see. It's funny. I could hear the engine running and see the scenery go by and recede as I gained altitude. Just like Wonder Women's invisible plane. ;)

:)  Bob

Are you sure you have this aircraft? THIS version of the aircraft has not been released yet... :-?
But yes, when it is, a native FSX version will be included in the package.

I have the one that is available for FS2004. Will be watching for your release of the Avenger for FSX. I really like the aircraft. It is one of the many model planes I have built over the years.

:) Bob

I think you have a different model... this is the model announced here...
-->http://www.maam.org/flightsim/news/NEWS.htm
The screenshots on the website are of very early alpha-versions... the real thing is far more detailed than in those shots... (that website has not been updated recently, I think...)
Very nice piece of work... it will be WELL worth the money for any and all who can buy it...
