BTW: how come the aircraft in your shots all seem to  reflect pink? Or is it that my graphics card is breaking up?

on my screen it looks like a light orange :-/ i don't know. i think its part of the effects of environment indigo doesn't look pink to me

Ah ... orange or pink. A sort of light salmonish color ... but yeah I think we mean the same.

Could that have something to do with your envmap?

thats what the envmap looks like. maybe it inverts the colors when it gets put in the sim :-/
