'New Horizons' (Three)

Continued from Here

New Horizons (three)

Heres the third part in this seemingly never ending round the world series(!) Now we are arriving in Cape Town (FACT). Took some liberties here, i downloaded some Cape Town scenery, but to be honest i cant see where it starts and ends - ive never been to South Africa but im guessing it looks a little like this!!!

The other 747SP that appears is also a POSKY SP, with a really fantastic paint of SAA from the 70's - it really does bring this aircraft 'alive' when you see it on its own.

Also cheated a little with the in cockpit shot - its obviously not a 747SP as they would have been in '77 similar to the 747-200 'classic' and i dont have a decent VC of that - its actualy from the PMDG 747-400F, and ive tried to 'hide' the modern stuff inside! But if i hadnt said anything i guess no one would really notice....

The challenge im also finding is 'how may different ways can we show the same aircraft?' Hopefully im managing to not bore everyone with 'similar' shots - many variations/weather combos/times of day ive tried - to get away from this which i guess is inherent with a series thats still got two more parts to go!!!

I will admit to the fact its getting harder to find that 'shot' which stands out somewhat..!

Next stop is Auckland via the south pole - hopefully will be a bit nice because ive some new scenery to try out in that area.....

Another gorgeous set Simon! I'm loving this series!

You might want to experiment with some black borders above and below the shots, to give them a sort of cinematic feel.

Curiously awaiting the next set ...
