Continued from Here

New Horizons part two (Hooray i hear you all groan!!)

OK,computer problems solved, heres the next set in this series chronicling 'Clipper New Horizons' record breaking round the world flight!

Excuse terminal 5 - ive tried to keep it in the distance....

Just a quick visit - i dont know the real specifics of how long and what time and so on - i just wanted to capture the essence of the flight. I imagine a quick turnaround, fuel, usual airliner type stuff, then back on the taxiway, take-off and next stop Cape Town!

Ive junked the small intro and exit pics...didnt work did it lol ;D

AWESOME! I love the second ... what a great set; yet another!

And I also think you have an excellent eye for detail Simon, such as adding a 707 Landor tail in the third. Very clever!

I can hardly wait till the next set! Keep 'em coming!

Cheers fellas! Glad you like shot 2 it was the hardest to capture but my personal favorite!

And the tail - it seemed to me as long as i could create some impression this was 1977 (and without installing some sort of old jetliners traffic pack!) all id need would be a hint of 'somthing' that people know from those times. What better than the beautiful Original British Airways red tail at Heathrow of all places!!

BEA might have done it but by 1977 they were gone (merged into BA) along with BOAC another classic that people recognize...

And Harold, this is the Negus and Negus BA livery with the Red tail(and proper speedbird!), the Landor design came along in 1984 ish i think, and the tail went dark blue with a crest on it!! My fault for not showing more of the aircraft i guess!

But it negates the lack of traffic, and terminal 5! And propably terminal 4 though it might have been in the initail planning stages back then!

Thanks for the comments guys, appreciated [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
