A few more of the new IRIS F-20, continued from HERE.  I played around a bit with the other paint schemes they include, as well as the ordinance manager that lets you choose where to place different kinds of ordinance on the aircraft...

Thanks.  The afterburner does look kind of weird, but it's like an animated version of the Acceleration F/A-18 afterburner and it looks pretty darn good in motion. ;)

^^

Now if only my approaches in (Alphasim's) F-5 to KEDW could look like that...

Hard to master the high AoA approach style in the F-5/T-38/F-20 family isn't it? Great shots Mobius.

Another cool set ... the last one is a killer ;D

The afterburner effect indeed looks a bit cheesy, but - as you know - they are easily replaced by AlphaSim's excellent effect ;)

How do you replace it?  Alphasim's is loads better...

Replace the effect in the aircraft.cfg with the one from AlphaSim. It's really easy ... just copy (only) the name of the effect from the AlphaSim aircraft.cfg and replace the original effects name in your Talon's aircarft.cfg. Just compare the aircraft.cfg from the Talon with one from an AlphaSim aircraft.

It should be under [EFFECTS], though you might need to do a little research first as I don't run FSX and therefore I'm not sure if it's the same procedure as in FS9 ...

Thanks Harold, I'll give it a try. :)
