Mohamed's First Flight!

I took these today while my best friend Mohamed flew his first flight. He flew from Burlington Airpark-Brantford then back.

He said they pulled some spins and rolls.

Moe is working on getting his glider license, this was a real treat for him!

The flight I did was in a C152 with almost exact paint to what he flew. The route may or may not be the same.

I used the Just Flight Flying Club C152, an awesome aircraft.

Why not? An Aerobat is suitable for many aerobatic maneuvers. As far as loads on the airframe, a proper barrel roll can be fairly tame.

Crispy and colorful. I like 'em but please don't cut of small parts of the aircraft that weren't intended as if you were using excessive zoom (like this).

The last one is very good though ... lots of dynamics, very 'in your face'.

They're hard to do correctly, but a properly-executed barrel roll should not produce more than one G...

And the  Aerobat version of the 152 is rated for +6/-3 g, and can even be used for outside loops.

Yup! We took one up a while back out over the desert in California, pulled straight up in the vertical and let it stall, and got a few spins out of it! Now THAT was fun!

Oh man, he uploaded video last night of his spins. They're turning, and all of a sudden the throttle goes out, nose goes up and they turn to the left and start spinnin' towards the ground!

It looks like a fun procedure!
