Two shots from my "ILS approach under IFR conditions" flight.

Stable on the approach

That fabulous sight...

Not taken to be perfect in every way...just thought they were "noteworthy." ;)

The first is really unusual - its like your landing on the moon or somthing - but with clouds!! Great shot!

The second is very real! -great when it all clicks and the runways where u expect it and it looms out at you...nice shot!

I never looked at the first shot that way before! Interesting point.

Would anyone like to guess what airport I am landing at, by the ILS frequency and Rwy number? And anyone want to comment on the quality of the landing judging by the instruments in the second shot? ;)

Great shots An! I do belive that is Edwards AFB, KEDW. Could tell by the ground textures in the second shot. ::)
