Nice series Its stunning scenery and i like the AES, and am glad to see youve got plenty of traffic in there, it looks far better like that!

How do you get on with actualy flying the approach? Ive tried it many many times and everythings always ok until the final turn  :'(

Overshoot, turn too tight, not enough turn, allsorts....i think ive cracked it once and thats it!

Thanks Horse! I sort of did the traffic myself; my skAI traffic does not fly into Kai Tak anymore and the AI traffic that I had for Kai Tak, did not match skAI ...

I know how that feels ... I must have flown that approach over a dozen times. But slewing also helps

Please don't call me that. I appreciate the compliment but there are lots of other people that post some stunning screenshots in here. Generally, I don't think that 'razorsharp' images are the standard to which all others need or should be compared. I think creative angles and nice scenery is much more interesting than something everyone can do with Photoshop. And be very picky when it comes to selecting aircraft, scenery and environmental packages. They really can make or brake your shots.

You didn't read did you ... if you did you would've noticed that the scenery is 9Dragons Kai Tak and that it 'sort of' did the traffic myself.

I was just teasing you Reno. But these are the fruits of spending two years with Simviation.

And again, thank you for the compliment! I really like these shots (they might even be my best to date) and I am glad other people like them too.
And to be honest, I thought that that last shot of the first part would get some reactions. When I took it I was pretty amazed myself

It does indeed do it itself, although it means using TTools (i think i installed a month or two ago) All i did was basicaly transfer the traffic from VHHH to VHHX, as per the instructions in 9Dragons documentation, and hey presto, My kai tak is full of stuff!

And they fly the approach, and usualy get it right, which suprised me, as the bungling AI cant usualy manage KSEA without going round!

When i first installed it i spent a bit of time roaming around just watching them come in!

Ultimatley VHHH is now closed with kai tak now open. Indeed, in the scenery its in the process of being built!

Although i think theres some procedure out there so that you can have both this and the new airport open together. Goodness knows what its like then....

I knew I should've read that! It would've saved me a lot of trouble! Just CTRL+H VHHH to VHHX. I was just to eager too check out the scenery

You should try AISmooth then ... invaluable tool if you want smooth AI. I have FS Auto Startup load it automatically when I launch a flight.

I have that now ... but the 9Dragons Kai Tak scenery only has a partially finished Chek Lap Kok. So my AI is landing on a construction site there.
I should look into that one of these days.

'AIsmooth' ? For some reason ive come across files for this on my PC but i cant for the life of me recall where or when i got it :-?
