Thunderbirds are er....go

Postby todayshorse » Tue Apr 15, 2008 4:04 am

Still hunting for other tailfin repaints other than '6' (and apparently it does exist including the 'black' tail!)

And a couple of others for good measure......

Mainly just showing the cloud9 phantom, it really is the best phantom ive come across for fs9, and one of the best looking both inside and out of anything ive seen for fs9. Great sounds, flys very well, and theres loads and loads of repaints that come with it let alone what you can d/l! Stunning!

No RAF/Navy version(well it was a very different phantom!) and only one navy version, but its all down to the variant :)

:)thankyou!

Yep, they are a fantastic aircraft. Although id seen them before at airshows and at yeovilton and so on, it wasnt until a couple of years ago at waddington airshow i got to stand right next to one (they have one in the grounds not far from the awacs hangar and for a few quid you could sit in it i think) and was suprised to find out just how big it really was close up :o

Visualising this huge thing dogfighting with MiGs over SEA on full burners took on a whole new meaning.....
