Title evokes a great image of gnarled cowboys facing off at dawn, hands hovering over the chipmunks low-slung on their hips....
Nice capture!

heh heh ... at first (because of our previous conversations) I thought you removed the '68' from the leading Chipmunk to get the feel of two different aircraft but then I looked at your edit in the Edited section and realized they actually were two different aircraft.
Still a clever shot ...

lol, its a tricky problem when doing this to find two repaints that are from the same 'squadron' or unit - happily this aircraft came with a few with different markings and so on.
Unfortunatley, a shot with two F-4's id been working on for the judges choice comp didnt work as well as i 'visioned' it in my mind. Id found a lovely 32bit texture for the F-4, and actually had a repaint already from the same unit, alas they were the same aircraft........ :(
I guess its noticeable (if you look closely!) despite my attempts to 'blur' it out but its such a fantastic repaint i had to use it!!

Well you could try to manipulate the paintjobs a bit.
It is not that hard. All you need is some photo-editing software (basically Windows' Paint is good enough) and a tool called
DXTBMP

Ive thought of that but never managed to progress to actually doing it

I just envisage making a complete mess of things! But i suppose altering a few numbers (as thats all it would take i reckon in most cases) cant be that hard and said link is now downloading......

Thanks for that!
