Very nice as usual, I like the action in number 2 and the repaint on the last one. Im not a big fan of the blurry textures or the flat water, but thats mostly fs9 at low altitude :(

Your shots are always informative Ill have to check out lake hood ;)

Love the 2nd shot!!

Nice Otter, isn't it, Harold? Thought you might fly the one with yellow stripes, though your Grumman 44 fits the bill.

Nice shots! Beautiful aircraft and youve captured them very well.

Cant say im hot on the scenery or the textures but thats hardly criticism more personal taste!

What water are you using? I always had big problems running default and various other water textures/effects full on so usualy had it turned off. However found a nice little set on here and although not up to the fsx standard, i can run it maxed and its ok even when low and slow/close in.

Nice shots. Very artistic but the sky color keeps them from being realistic, especially the first one. That light blue just doesn't quite match the rest of that early morning look.

Thank you for all your feedback and nice comments guy! I really appreciate you're taking the time to write :D

You're right ... photoreal sceneries look nice from a thousand feet up. At ground level they look like ... well, you know. Still I find that to be true with all texture files; they all look blurry when you're close to or on the ground.

Thought you might fly the one with yellow stripes, though your Grumman 44 fits the bill.

Thanks Chris, I was indeed thinking about the Otter with the yellow strips but as I have a lot of yellow aircraft on the shelve for this series I decided that red would be a better/nicer diversification.

Cant say im hot on the scenery or the textures but thats hardly criticism more personal taste!

I couldn't agree with you more but they really look very nice when you're a little higher ...

What water are you using?

Although I am not completely satisfied with its envmap, I am using Holger Sandmann's Water Package at the moment. It is not a 'package' as in one that you can download from somewhere, but Mr. Sandmann posted a 'recipe' here describing how he mixed and matched different packages for his 'ultimate water package'. Very interesting reading material!

Thanks Duke ... I've never been to Alaska so I have no clue as to what the sky looks like over there but today we had similar weather over here (sunny and some really nice and big cumulus clouds) and the sky color was exactly that kind of blue ... strange how on a different continent the skycolor can be something completely else. Not too sure about the lightblue but I'll check tomorrow moring. But bottom line: I knew you were going to comment on my skycolor and I don't mind. I value your opinion, but I like the shots as they are and they are the best I can do.

Really liked that last one.

What happened then ...? ;D

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Are you saying that you feel the same way about your shots and my comments?

Just curious ... :-?

I didn't mean that in a derogatory way. I respect your comments very much. Also feel the same about my shots. I usually have a pretty good feeling about how my shots are going to be accepted. Sometimes I post shots that I know some people won't like just to get a response.

I guess it is kind of like this. I enjoy flying around in Flight Sim. and taking screenies. If I like them, I share them. I don't post them just to get comments. I try to look at all comment objectively and try to use them to improve my shots. If someone suggest something and I try it and don't like it, I just throw it out.

You might have noticed that I don't comment to much on others peoples shots unless they appear really good to me. I will be the first one to admit that I am no expert on screenshots and the last thing I want is for someone to think that I am even trying to be or act like one. A large number of posters might not like what I like so I just keep my mouth shut most of the time. If I don't like a shot that someone else post, I don't say anything. Afterall, who am I to critizise? I leave that to the experts. Let me also add that just because I don't comment doesn't mean that I think a shot is bad. It is just that I don't think it is super good. Again, that is personal opinion and I don't want to force mine (opinion) on anyone because it might stink worse than their screens.

I thought you would know that I wasn't serious about that blue sky. It didn't impress me that much but I only commented because of the comments you have been giving me recently.  ;) Kind of like a "comment war".  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well my rig isnt quite up to it then ;D Its getting on a little - in PC terms anyway!

It can handle fs9 maxed (apart from intense weather and i turn off the AA when im 'flying') and all i have on my main PC is fs9 and associated things, i use my laptop for everything else!

Its certainly somthing id look into as and when i upgrade though as scenery such as this is somthing i havent really got, so the links are in my bookmarks ;)
