Thank you for all your feedback and nice comments guy! I really appreciate you're taking the time to write

Im not a big fan of the blurry textures or the flat water, but thats mostly fs9 at low altitude
You're right ... photoreal sceneries look nice from a thousand feet up. At ground level they look like ... well, you know. Still I find that to be true with all texture files; they all look blurry when you're close to or on the ground.
Thought you might fly the one with yellow stripes, though your Grumman 44 fits the bill.
Thanks Chris, I was indeed thinking about the Otter with the yellow strips but as I have a lot of yellow aircraft on the shelve for this series I decided that red would be a better/nicer diversification.
Cant say im hot on the scenery or the textures but thats hardly criticism more personal taste!
I couldn't agree with you more but
they really look very nice when you're a little higher ...
What water are you using?
Although I am not completely satisfied with its envmap, I am using Holger Sandmann's Water Package at the moment. It is not a 'package' as in one that you can download from somewhere, but Mr. Sandmann posted a 'recipe'
here describing how he mixed and matched different packages for his 'ultimate water package'. Very interesting reading material!
Nice shots. Very artistic but the sky color keeps them from being realistic, especially the first one. That light blue just doesn't quite match the rest of that early morning look.
Thanks Duke ... I've never been to Alaska so I have no clue as to what the sky looks like over there but today we had similar weather over here (sunny and some really nice and big cumulus clouds) and the sky color was exactly that kind of blue ... strange how on a different continent the skycolor can be something completely else. Not too sure about the lightblue but I'll check tomorrow moring. But bottom line: I knew you were going to comment on my skycolor and I don't mind. I value your opinion, but I like the shots as they are and they are the best I can do.
Really liked that last one.
What happened then ...?
