Last shots from a flight over G. Razek's great, still incomplete Rocky Mountains photo-scenery, Telluride to Mineral County Memorial...

VERY nice shots, (Love the sy in #1) but a lot of flaps deployed there!
I still prefer the Shockwave Mustang though...

Yeah, the sky in number one is really good. Maybe a little vague but to me that adds to the 3D feel of the whole shot. Somehow it looks to me that you've changed something in your setup Roger. Have you turned the sharpening on your card up a notch? These seem to be more 'brilliant' than your previous shots ...

Cheers guys....
I usually land with full flaps Jankees, I don't pay too much attention to 'procedures'....but maybe I should if it makes pics look unrealistic. I would probably prefer the Shockwave Mustang too, but I don't have it. Carter's bird's good enough for me...
As for the sharper images, I think full use of the new 150 kb limits is the reason for that, posting fewer shots and linking to extra ones, using FSX, with also a general attempt to use higher quality models, FEX hi-def clouds (not the new ones yet, sadly, but some of the newer themes do contain photoreal elements....) and generally to produce more 'show-off' pics rather than 'record of my latest trip' pics.....Before I was posting mainly FS9, pics were 40 - 100 kb, less effort was taken, I flew anything 'interesting' etc and I had a worse computer. There ya go Harold - all you needed to know...and more...

Looks realistic enough to me. Here's a photo I took of Jumpin' Jacques landing at Shoreham in 2006.

I notice most shots of this model include drop tanks. It would be nice to see some without them if possible.

Well alright! Lots of flaps in that nice pic....cheers Hagar!
They did a good job on that RL plane in getting it to look more or less like the FS version. Commendable!
No doubt the Shockwave Mustang will be configurable, but I don't know if the Carter freeware Mustang comes without drop tanks... :-?
I didn't exactly need them either for that short flight...
