Anyways, here are some progress shots of our upcoming 757 package. The model has been totally redone sicne the release of the QW Beta.
Enjoy the shots

Thanks!!
The blade angles have been flipped since that shot, but we may actually flip them back. Rolls Royce engs rotate clockwiese (fwd looking aft) while most engs rotate counter clockwiese. But a flight simulator limitation prevents us from getting that in the sim.
There are many, many more previews available on our forums.

Really? that's odd, i would assume you could just flip the direction it rotates in, although im no XML programmer so i cant really help you with that.
Looks absolutely stunning, you guys did a great job, how many polygons so far? And are all the systems going to function as there Real life counter-parts?

U know what, I guess I never thought of that. Gotta double check. I knwo there are some XML animations for the blades which are already animated by the sim.
Re: Polys...we're within our budget so far- but we've got some stuff to do. Stay tuned.
Systems are planend as Semi-advanced. Not on the level of Level-D, but we're not charging Level-D prices either

The captain sim 757-200 with rollers, its blades rotate clockwise, looking front to aft! Funny how id never really noticed blades rotating one way or another!!
And the PW engined version, they rotate............clockwise as well!
Which way do PW's rotate in real life?
Heck ill be looking at them all now

Rolls Royce does things backwards (or normal depending on what part of the world you are from...lmao). For what it's worth, the RB211s are my favorite engines. The other engine manufacturers that I have dealt with eng direction of rotation is CCW FLA (fwd looking aft).

I see you're going with an "Aquafresh" wing.

Looks good. I have the beta and, well, it's beta-y.

The RB211 story let alone the engine is very interesting, bankrupting Rolls and nearly finishing lockheed - yet it went on to power more 747's than both GE and PW's i recall reading in the late eighties, pre trent anyway.
The whole tristar story in itself is worth a read.
Ive seen some pics of the test bed for the engine somewhere, a Vickers VC-10 with RR conways on one side and an RB211 on the other...!
Anyway ive digressed from your screenshots....apologies!
