I had to do a little rechecking for a new texture which will fix some of the FSG and Xclass landclass probems with GEX and in the process snagged a few shots of a flight across Washington to Missoula Montana late in the day.. nothing spectacular like the canadian mountains set I posted but all the same it shows what GEX Enhanced does for mountains, winter, flights into the boonies and especially the transition from days to NIGHTS.
This is a very late winter flight with traces of early spring in it as the snow melts in some places and things are just beginning to green back up in the lowlands
Enjoy
As I approached Spokane.. there was heavy weather up ahead so I gained altitude to fly over the mountains and stayed just above the weather. Below are the lights from the city of Spokane, WA at dusk as I entered the Idaho Rockies

Over the Rockies and out of the weather I decend into Montana

Notice the clearing on the top of the mountain... this use to be sand with no trees or greens... now it comes to life

A bit low on this approach, but fun

Welcome to Missoula Montana. Not quite completely dark yet but the new city lights are twinkling none the less

Winter now gives you all the natural colors it should. You can even see that as it gets darker. No more black/white winters, even with snow!
