Just bought GEX...

So I finally figured out what GEX was, looked at it online and thought, "hey, it's only $30, why not?"

I wasn't able to sleep much tonight, so I got up a little after 0300, made some coffee, and went ahead and purchased it. I think I installed it correctly. I know i'm not great at taking screenshots, but here's my quick flight to check it out...

I was a little worried about the performance hit it would have, but to my surprise, FSX runs great with it... 8-)

FSX runs better with GEX because GEX optimizes the autogen layout

Also really like the traffic! I can set AI to about 20% on mine, but anything above absolutely trashes frame rates!

Wow, really nice screenshots there!  I like the GEX, makes FSX look a whole lot better than stock.

heh ... look at Andy's system specs. I'm not surprised to see AI road traffic there.
He probably has 'every thing maxed' and is still getting a smooth experience.

Having just typed that, I think 'smooth experience' is a very cool word
