SGN-TPE-HKG
Posted: Wed Jan 23, 2008 8:08 pmTreated myself a little back in early December by purchasing Samsoft's "The Sky of Taipei" addon. Quite surprised by the quality...but a little upset that it causes major FPS hits on this new rig. I've seen more detail then this not cause such drastic drops. So limited to landing and departing from late evening to early morning. Doesn't seem to effect me once it goes into night time mode. Love the airport mainly...Pretty close to the real thing. And its nice to have the surrounding area more accurate as to cities etc.
Starting off with the arrival from SGN. Just turned off the runway.
Pretty quiet night for TPE. Only a couple flights moving about, most are waiting at their gates for a later departure. Looking at Terminal 2.
At the gate...Terminal 1...Remember this terminal well as its the same one I arrived and departed from in real life. Remember the massive immigration area the most. So spacious, such a tall ceiling, and most of all very short lines that morning 8-)
Next morning it was off to Hong Kong. Parked at Terminal 2 this time, gates been retracted and we are ready for push back in a couple minutes.
Up up and away...
Back tracking to lock onto our flight plan and taking on last look at my favorite airport. Good bye Taiwan...will return again soon.
