MD Super 80

Postby Fly2e » Fri Dec 28, 2007 12:37 pm

I was not going to post these as I really do not like the wide view.
Unfortunately the Super 80 is so dang long it is hard to get a good shot of her.

They stopped flying them in 2000 and replaced them with 737NG's.

Oh well I was far way to young to appreciate or know anything about aviation back then. Very nice thought I wish they would still fly them.

Beautiful shots! I understand the AC is payware. Is the backround FSX?

I really like #3, too bad the ground textures are a bit blurry in the last shots.

Hi Dave, all of them shots are stunning! I already own the LeonardoSH MD-80 as I am an avid Md-80 fan, but would like one with a Virtual cockpit. So, how is she?

It is my understanding it's based on an earlier maddog without the FMS system, VOR? How is the cockpit training system?

Hello relentless,

Thanks! From what I have heard, this Super 80 is close to the real deal. I myself do not get really involved with the actual workings of it. I  actually just power it up and fly it.  ;D

Yes it is a version of the earlier Maddog which was not too nice. The new version seems to handle and respond much nicer and is allot easier on frames.

I would say if you like MD80's it is well worth the money!
