Thanks for the nice replies everyone. I have flown in the Mollis area. It's a good starting point to go exploring all the different canyons ,valleys and passes. Between the FSX map and the good old Google Earth maps I manage to not to get into to much trouble. I usually print out a terrain map for reference. Works pretty good for flying low and slow.

You're a brave one, taking a Champ into the Alps... :o Is that the Long Island Classics model, or...? I find that one is pretty close to the real thing... that is: FUN.
And, uh, yeah... right, the scenery is nice, too...
