A day at the Beech!

Carenado's Swallowtail Bonanza...

A few from today's cruise around Tampa Bay.  I happen to think the Swallowtail is one of the best looking GA planes in aviation and planes like this are why payware is made.  It speaks volumes for Carenado when you consider this is an FS2004 plane in FSX.  ;)

On final int Lakeland/Linder.  Yes, I am too high as I'm sure SOMEONE will point out...  ;)

Are you using SP2/Acceleration?

I have these aircraft but in SP2/Acceleration, the prop textures are so messed up it's not even funny. And the panel textures, well that's even worse, they're see-through lol.

Yeah, you can really see it in the third shot.  I keep hoping for a patch but until then, it's still a great plane to fly...

Carenado really makes some very good stuff don't they? Very nice models and indeed too bad about the prop textures ... what is causing that anyways?

I'm not sure, but the VC is screwed up as well.  Still, even with that, it's an exceptional plane, and I really prefer the 2d panel anyway...

I've always felt that it's better to be too high than too low...  ;)

Lol Harold.

It's a shame that SP2 has caused all these prop and panel texture problems :( and it's not just with these planes.

They really are very good models and feel great to fly, but i'm a VC guy and like my textures right. We'll have to wait for their patches, hopefully not much longer.
