Got an early birthday present about 2 weeks ago, but wasn't in a position to fly a route or post any shots till now.  Was sent the CLS A340-600 8-)  Haven't had a good 600 model till now.  Nice to finally take the long bird for a change instead of its shorter ancestors :-/

Ready for a mid afternoon takeoff from Frankfurt.  Lufthansa flight 446.

Little better climb then its sisters but still not a rocket when this heavy.  Climbing out and will be having a long step climb up to our cruise altitude of 38,000 feet.

Somewhere over the Atlantic around FL340.

After about 10.5 hours we finally make our way into a cloudy Denver.  Those long wings bouncing like rubber bands in the heavy turbulence. (love that feature on aircraft 8-) )
Image
Rolling up to gate A39 after a 15 minute taxi across the airport :P  Never really grasped just how large the Denver airport property is :o
Image
Docked and waiting for all the ground service to arrive.  Its a little after 16:00, came in about half hour late thanks to headwinds.

Returned to Frankfurt the next day aboard flight 447.

Have be heading out of Frankfurt tomorrow night ;)
