Swiss Alps Tour #1 - Buochs To Meiringen

Hello,
I decided to do a tour of the Swiss Alps seeing how beautiful they are in some recent flights!
Leg 1 - Buochs to Meiringen
Buochs is a municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. It is a fairly small town with a population of just 5000. The town itself has around 250 local businesses which employ around a quarter of the towns population.
The helicopter we hoped to rent for this tour had been flown to Meiringen the night before and could not be flown back due to maintenance needing to be done, so we had to stick to the Schweizer S300 which was a nice little helo to fly..
Meiringen is a municipality in the district of Oberhasli in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
The town is famous for the Reichenbach Falls, a naturally beautiful water fall that was the setting for the fictional presumed death of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's character Sherlock Holmes. A museum dedicated to Holmes is located in the basement of the deconsecrated English Church which is currently known as Conan Doyles Place. The town has a population of approximately 4000. The town is also said to have invented meringue.
Micheline Calmy-Rey had just arrived at the airport so no cameras were allowed to be used in the airport, unfortunately

Due to the fact that Micheline Calmy-Rey, the president of the Swiss Confederation, had just landed at the local airport, camera's were not allowed to be used in the airport..VERY bad timing

Hope you like!
Ben
