Boeing has completed the final assembly of its first 787, which was rolled out at a ceremony on July 8, 2007 (7-8-07, in the usual U.S. date order). The first test flights are not on a fixed schedule but are expected in September 2007.

From all the concept art I have seen on the 787 I think it is going to have that radical shape on the wings

Great shots, shame its the Abacus rendition of what it thinks the 787 would look like. Can I say that it looks nothing like the real 787 whatsoever. You should try Camil Valiquette's freeware 787 Dreamliner, looks a lot more realistic. Sorry, there great shots none the less.
