Well, finally I get the chance to post these ancient shots...
...and continue the Egypt - London tour.



I bade farewell to Spyro in Venice - last time I saw my purple friend he was sitting in the cabin of his Howard re-heating some unfinished pizza by breathing fire on it.








Taxiing to the runway, we saw this big mutha come in....








She looks like she could be a real stick in the mud.








It took a while to climb to Alpine altitudes, but we managed in the end.







Nice lakes and valleys in these parts...








Suddenly in the clouds.... scary how they close in on you like that in one nanosecond.

Very nice Roger. I'm not a fan of the Rapide but the scenery is beath taking! You gotta love the Alps!

BTW: Which AI package includes that MD-11? That is one detailed bird for AI

Thanks! I love the Rapide! First plane I flew in!

The MD-11 is by Simmers Sky (freeware though) and is not ai. The pic was made with recorder  :)
