Over the Alps.... after some desperate minutes of dodging mountaintops we managed to find a lower ridge and cross over into the lower regions below.

Phew!

Salzburg's Space Elevator is quite a sight too.

Turning onto final.

It's on Avsim.

And the scenery looks a lot better with all the trees around it in FSX. ;) :D

Now that is some mountain in #3! I came across a valley like that somewhere in the French Alps once..

Again a sweet set Roger! Me likes! I really like that second shot with those low clouds and the stunning angle! Keep on going!

That shot was my desktop for a week or so...

...I've finished the tour now, but browser problems are holding me back from getting all my stuff posted. Coming up: Salzburg - Franfurt - Amsterdam - London City....

...looking forward to seeing more of your tour, it was spectacular and very informative!!

Thank you Roger! THe tour will be good when I continue and I'll keep up with giving information on the surrounding scenery that I'm flying trough. Personal trouble (no job contract extention, migration from XP to Vista and back to XP again, holidays, etc.) kept me from continuing my tour, but I will return shortly.

Amsterdam

Can't wait to see what that will look like ;)

Not that great I'm afraid. Tried Netherlands 2000, then discovered what the "2000" signified in their name. Went back to default, which is quite good for the airport, just the two towers though they don't bother me. Do you know of any decent Amsterdam city/airport package? I'd re-shoot my pics again if there was one...

NL2000 was nice a while back and we're all eagerly anticipating NL2000 V3 but it's still in Beta :(
Cloud9 and LAGO both have a very nice rendition of Schiphol but these are payware.

Removing the non exsisting second tower from the default EHAM scenery can be done by installing this patch.

More interesting Schiphol stuff can be found here.
