Top down/underside views are virtually identical!

Tu-160 looks better, anyway. 8-)

The tupelov is more complex, twice as fast and holds a lot more payload than the B-1. The B-1 was introduced in 1986, the Tupelov in 1987. I doubt you can call it a "copy" as such (its a bit hard to copy a complete aircraft within a year  :P)

As for Russians copying technology, Russian fighters have had 3D jet vectoring for decades before the US even attempted 2D thrust vectoring, I wonder who's copying?  :P

By the way, that first and last shots are absolutely stunning!

The russian language is pretty original (i.e. infuriatingly complicated). I should know. I just started learning it.

I really have started to learn russian!! I can't get a russian alphabet on this computer but I can type in english;
