Air-Air Refuelling

After reading a book called 'Vulcan 607', about the Vulcan raids on the Falkland islands in 1982, I was inspired to do this edit. It depicts an air-to-air refuelling between a Vulcan and a Victor - without the fuel hose, cause I don't know how I could do that. These air-to air refuellings were part of an intricate plan involving 15 Victor Tankers, all to get a single Vulcan over target. I'd recommend reading it, it's a great book!!!

This is my first edit, please be gentle!!

Ive just read the book, 'Sea harrier over the Falklands' by Commander 'Sharkey' Ward. Great book with some very strong view on the whole conflict. not least the vulcan raids. apparently he worked out he could have flown about 50 shar missions dropping the same amount or even more bombs than the vulcans for the price incurred by one single vulcan and all that fuel used! v.v. interesting book!!

good shot btw!

Read 607  a few months back really good book. Though Wards argument that the raids were a waste of resources is flawed, yes the SHARS couldave done a better job of taking out the airfield but the point of using the Vulcan was to show the Argentines that if we had really wanted to we could have hit the mainland... just as well they didnt know that we didnt have enough tankers to actually do that though... still the raid served to cause the FAA (argentina) to hold back fighters just in case.

Yeah, but problem is, you'd have to run the raids in several stages, and lose the element of surprise - much like what happened at pearl harbor, in a strange way. But if you use 1 vulcan, you can do as much damage as 50 SHARS would do, in a smaller space of time.

No matter, what ended up happening was an awe-inspiring effort on the part of the vulcan and victor crewmembers, and all those on the ground who made it possible for the vulcan to go to war.

P.S. I've been a complete idiot, and put this in the wrong forum. It should be in edited screenshot. If a mod is reading this, would they please shift it?

I don't know that book, but the screenshot is very nice 8-) :D
Does anybody know how to make air-air-refueling? I thinks it's to hard for me but I'd like to know...
I know it can be done in FS by AI Trafiic (I have an older FS9 add-on called RAF-Tornado), but Aircraft to Aircraft in a multiplayer flight can't pe done, can it? And the AI Traffic Method doesn't work in multiplayer mode, too?!
