Sunday evening's flight

Postby kingmarktheaviator » Sun Apr 15, 2007 5:40 pm

Just a quick flight from Glasgow - Heathrow, FS9.
Fly UK Dash 8 - Q400, the thread is in payware because of ActiveSky.

Weather is a bit crap in Glasgow today:

A bit nicer in cruise:

Taxiing to my gate, no shots of landing, the ones I had were crap!

Thanks for the nice comments guys.
It was a nice flight after I got to my cruise altitude.  The landing was a bit rough though, I had a bit of a crosswind to contend with, as well as the busy Heathrow traffic.
They told me to go-around......no thanks!  I put the aircraft down on the centreline and on the numbers, I was impressed!
Cheers,

Hey,
I can't remember exactly which sky textures they are, they might be the ones that come with the Silverwings package (crap water in those though, does anyone have any good water textures to guide me towards?).  However, they could well be ones from ActiveSky.  They could well be a set from FS Sky World.
Sorry I can't be of much help, but I am sure that if you look around and play with different settings on AS or FS Sky World (if you have them) you will find good textures.
I got kinda lucky with these  :P
Cheers,
