odds and ends

I just thought I'd bother you again with some odds and ends that have been flying around...

I thought this gave a nice idea about what Catalina's were about, hours and hours of patrol flying over the ocean...


wheras Mustangs were about escorting the bombers..


..and patrolling the skies to keep our big friends out of trouble.


Do I see any bandits?

Sweet shots JK! I particulary like the atmosphere and clouds in #1 (very nice moon detail!) & 5 and the very creative angle in #7.

Interesting bunch, great idea behind it, the shots might have more impact if the planes were closer to the camera...a bit small they are, yes.

Love the one from inside the flying coffin fortress...!
