On July 28, 1976, an SR-71 broke the world record for its class: an absolute speed record of 2,193.1669 mph (3,529.56 km/h), and a US "absolute altitude record" of 85,068.997 feet (25,929 m).
85 068.997 feet [international, U.S.] = 16.111 552 462 mile [international] Give or take a few inches.
I think the original joke is long lost. :(

To that many decimal places, you are actually within a couple of thousandths of a millimeter, or a few hundred-thousandsth of an inch... ;D

an absolute speed record of 2,193.1669 mph (3,529.56 km/h)

...and to think it's Top Speed is still classified to this day. :o

Yep. It's "officially" 3.3, although the engines were unofficially tested to 3.6. Bet it could go a lot faster though  ;)

I'm sure somebody busted 4... but even if you could squeeze your date in there with you, not much you could do with a spacesuit on. ;D
But flying the Blackbird is probably better than sex...! :D

Nope!!
Sex and flying are equal first place!!!!!!!!
But they don't mix.   There was an accident in the States many years ago, that when the rescue services arrived at the crash site they found the lady passenger in a compromising position over the pilot's nether regions!!!!!
Suction is a word that in aviation should apply to the engine and not the pilot's body!!!!!!!!

Nice shot.... Which country where you spying on. :P

EDIT: Maybe I should read the actual post next time; Russia.

It could only get to about mach 3.44 till parts of the nose got to hot that it started melting. However, I think that max altitude is fake, I reckon it could easily go past 85000 feet. How many times you have seen an official max altitude? All I have is 85000+.
