Finding Harold (PT 4)

Continued from part 3
Hi all,
Having spent a few days at Yakutat, it was time for me to press on to my rendezvous point with Harold Kip.
Time to file an IFR plan & get out of here:

Turning north west, it's about a 500nm trip, following the coast, to the BFU base on Kodiak Island. Hopefully I will get there a few days before Harold does:

Hoping that this cloud will go away soon, it's currently still IFR here, but the BFU base on Kodiak Island has no ILS. Nevermind, I've still got about 400nm to go - so a lot could happen in that time:

A break in the cloud at last, things are looking good:

Turning out to be a really nice day again, think I'll flick on the AP, climb in the back & get my thermos flask out 8-):

All good things........
Just approaching the eastern end of Kodiak Island & the cloud cover is closing in again. Looks like I'll have to file another IFR & head into the main airport on Kodiak Island - the only one on the island with an ILS:

Not being helped by a 30 knot crosswind from my 2 o'clock either, still, it makes things interesting:

I'll have to hold out here for the night & hope the weather improves tomorrow for a VFR hop into the BFU base.
Thanks for looking,
TSC.
