At the gate in San Francisco, which one is ours?
Climbing out over the bay as the sun rises
And...like magic....Approaching as the sun sets (actual flight is about 6 hours or so, but the time zones add 4 hours, so it ends up being almost 10 or 11 hours total travel time)
Runway in sight...that Airbus needs to get off the runway!
About to land...it was a very uncomfortable approach. 20 knot crosswind, and the wind caught me as I was flaring, so I floated a little, touched down alright but because of the angle of the fuselage I drifted off center, and then got blown back off center the other way...it was scary.
Scary approaches aside, I think this is the start of a new world tour! Stay tuned for screenshots!
