Hi John,

As soon as you told you were down I flew back to you. Did a lowpass to see if everything was ok, saw no smoke so I flew at top speed back to the end of the hop. Next time I'll bring my rescue chopper.

Crash ;)

PS I hope your simpit problem is fixed now.

Crash,

Yeah I saw you go over. I waved.   ;)

Pit's fixed.  If the problem had not happened exactly when it did, I likely could have fixed it enroute.  Apparently long term vibration from the subwoofer vibrated a usb hub connection wire loose.  Somehting was learned form the experience (  8-) )........ I have to secure such connections against vibrations.

It was a rahter realistic failure for me...... much more than the fake timed stuff in the sim.  Suddenly an important system is not working.... and I had to work with what I had left.  Fun....in hindsight.  At the time... it was sort of a shock.........which mirrors the "as real as it gets" bit pretty nicely.

Guess that is part of whay I built a simpit.  ;)

best,

................john
