Following on from part 1.

After stopping for some more fuel at Wrangell, I decide to chance that the weather will clear enough for a VFR landing into Bell Island Hot Springs - the alternative is an ILS landing into Ketchikan if the weather prevails, so it's no big deal:


Topped up, I leave Wrangell & head south again, the weather doesn't seem so bad once you get above the cloud layer - I could swear the cloud was thicker than that:


Getting near Bell Island Hot Springs now, & although the weather hasn't got any better - it hasn't deteriorated either:


Time to duck below the hood & see whats going on down here - rain, yuck!! Still ok for a visual approach though. The hot springs are just in the second valley on the left there:


Destination (& hot food/beer) in sight. This weather doesn't know what it's doing:


well I don't care if it is still raining, & I don't care if the dock is waaay back down by that boat - that hot tub's got my name all over it!!:
