Round the Poles- leg 1, part 6

Postby beaky » Thu Oct 05, 2006 6:55 am

Way, way behind on flying this trip, not to mention posting screenies- here's an update.

Moving right along... almost halfway there.

A bit chilly way up here, but no ice...

It's on long trips like this that I usually take the time to look at all of a models' features... in the Views menu, I discovered there's a sweet right-seater 2D panel...

Clouds are gathering now, as expected (Silver Wings Nice day with some customized settings)...but thanks to the turbos, I'm way on top, making excellent headway in smooth air.

Just a couple of hours to go.

Next: leg 1, part 7: the Caribbean, at last!

Yeah, I'm not bothering with that until I build the new rig (getting the rest of the parts in about a week). Too frustrating, and probably will involve a reinstall of FS9, so...

Exterior shots nice and crisp.... fine looking plane you've got there.
