With literally just enough fuel to manage my finals and landing plus heavy on the reverse thrust and after 3 attempts (one stall into the valley and one nose-to-mountain episode) this is the result...

Stalled onto the runway whilst kicking in reverse thrust (keeping a shallow dive helps prevent the nasty splat moment) and a small bounce (in this thing no laughing matter!)

Okay so the trick is the highly dangerous reverse thrusters whilst in a nose-dive landing! And you can get her down in about the same space as the wee 124! Those 2 extra engines REALLY help!!!!!
