stock planes in FSX.

The Grumman Goose.

The weather was pretty bad in Seattle as it often is.

FSX does a nice job of this area.

The water on the airport tarmac is a nice touch.

Hope they meet with your approval!

Thanks for all your replies.

Mynameisnemo: When I do check FPS which is not very often(usually after I have tested a tweak) I do it with one plane at the same location every time.

I look for between 16-25 with light bloom or mid2x water. One or the other since both together is too much for my rig unless I am in a very backwoods area.

Mobius: I have replaced all of the stock AI with 3 different programs all freeware and all better than the stock AI (by far) :

1) World of AI

2) Project AI

3) Ultimate GA

This allows me to run AI at 90-100% and maintain my target FPS.

Gunny04: In that last shot I am past take-off so the floats are up.

Ashar: I have repect for you and your work but I have no idea what you are talking about and think that it is a load of ridiculous and stupid nonsense (I really wish I could use much stronger language to say how I really feel).

NOTHING KILLED THESE SHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right click on the shots and if you know what you are talking about you should be able to tell which compression levels I am using.

Here's a hint:
The closer to 100 (the maximum allowed on this site.
The more the compression.

These are all in the high 90s as are all my shots.

LACK OF COMPRESSION is what kills a shot.

PLEASE DO NOT INSULT ME AS THOUGH I CAN'T SEE MY OWN SHOTS.

IF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE HERE NEEDS OR WANTS A LESSON IN HOW TO USE COMPRESSION I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO WRITE ONE UP.

I HAVE BEEN POSTING EXCLUSIVELY ON THIS SITE FOR YEARS AND I'VE HEARD JUST ABOUT EVERY NEGATIVE COMMENT MADE ABOUT MY SHOTS FROM EVERY JOKER WHO THINKS THEY KNOW BETTER.

I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF THIS SITE AS MY HOME FOR SCREENSHOTS AND ONLY POST THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF WORK THAT I CAN DO AND MY WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

I HAVE SPENT MONTHS STUDYING FSX (yes before it was released) AND I KNOW WHAT IT CAN DO ON EVERY MACHINE AND HOW TO MAKE IT DO IT AND IF MY SAYING THAT BOTHERS ANY OF YOU OR ATTACKS YOUR EGOs THAN TOO BAD.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ASKED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE "SPECIAL" SCREENSHOT WORKSHOP FORUMS OR FSX FORUMS ON THIS SITE EVEN THOUGH I AM MORE THAN SURE I COULD HELP A LOT OF PEOPLE IN MANY WAYS BUT APPARENTLY NO ONE ELSE DOES.

IT IS MY BELIEF IN LIFE THAT THE PEOPLE WHO ASK FOR HELP ARE THE ONES WHO RESPECT IT THE MOST AND JUST HANDING OUT INFO TO EVERYBODY DOES LITTLE GOOD.

I REALIZE THAT I AM NOT GOING TO WIN A POPULARITY CONTEST HERE BUT AT LEAST RESPECT ME FOR WHAT I DO WHETHER YOU LIKE ME OR NOT.

I apologize to everyone for my anger but sometimes I get fed up.

Jeez.  Take a deep breath, flip the flame switch on your keybored from ON to OFF.  Comression killed the second shot.  If it was at full quality, it would be much better than how it looks now.  Its not your fault.  You can't control that.  It's not negitive.  It's an observation.  Compression killed the shot.  Chill out.
