FSX VFR!!!!

Postby Mictheslik » Mon Oct 30, 2006 6:25 am

I've discovered a way to get my frames up in FSX and keep it looking really good........Buy photoscenery!!!!

These are just the demos......real thing out in December. The first two are Horizons Generation X.....the second two are justflights real scenery....They improve the game tenfold, removing all that nasty autogen and traffic and replacing it with lovely photos. My frames were on 31.......all settings max!

Compression really killed this one

Now that does look very nice. Especially in Scotland where there shouldn't be any trees or houses, so you don't miss the autogen.

Just for the UK. Though i'm sure if you look you'll find others out there.

All the increase in framerates are undoubtably down to the total absence of autogen that the photogenic scenery causes.

Still, what ever works right?

It looks alright in places like pictured because there shoudn't be trees or houses anyway. I wouldn't be brilliant in more populated areas though.
