...across the country.  So tonight for no real apparent reason I decided to fly across America...again...its the 4th time Ive done so this week.  Normally I go from SFO to BOS to take advantage of tailwinds, but I decided to be different and go the other way from KIAD (Dulles) to KSFO.  Headwinds the whole way, so I was a little late, but better late than never!

Not too many shots, but I think these few are pretty good...

On the ground at Dulles...this is the POSKY 767-300 by the way...

All big Boeings look awesome from this angle, especially on take off.  I didnt notice the perfect timing of this shot when I took it, but if you look carefully the front wheels of the mains are actually still on the ground...

Through the magic of flightsim I am already in SFO, took me about an hour or so to get here in real life time, a little over 5 hours in flight sim real life time

For some reason Ground put me at a little gate, but I stil managed to get a cool shot of this British Airways 747 taxiing somewhere (I dont remember if it was going for takeoff or to the gate)

Thats it for now, look out in the Photos forum for pictures from Wings Over Houston, Im going tomorrow ;D ;D

As always: Thanks for looking and Comments Welcome!

Thanks guys...the reflections and effects on the plane are due to the amazing paint job, I mean the tail is a photo and if you look carefully you can see that the pitot tubes on the nose have shadows painted below them.

The 767 along with the A300/A310 has got to be my least favourite airliner, but lovely crisp shots of it anyway, esp the 2nd and 4th!
