A nice gentle landing at Melbourne Int. followed (via a few bridges) and now I'm trying to decided where to head next....

I have no idea why (other than it's a damn fine aircraft :)) but those are very nice shots pal.
P.S. I'd have thought a MkVIII would have been a bit more at home in Aus ;) ;D

Well Roger I'm amazed you don't know! Actually TB863 (P-FU) a XVI owned by Temora Aviation Museum (who own the notorious sharks mouth VIII VH-HET) have just got her airworthy again and she has had her aviation certificates awarded so there'll be 2 Spits flying in Oz now 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Ahhh, but that was ages ago* Mark! News obviously travels slowly to Hungary! ;D

*well, in August! ;) To be fair, TB863 was never unairworthy, just in transit across from Wanaka...

I was trying to make a connection with a low back XVI and didn't want to make a prat of myself by bring up TB863 :-[
