A nice gentle landing at Melbourne Int. followed (via a few bridges) and now I'm trying to decided where to head next....

I have no idea why (other than it's a damn fine aircraft ) but those are very nice shots pal.
P.S. I'd have thought a MkVIII would have been a bit more at home in Aus

Well Roger I'm amazed you don't know! Actually TB863 (P-FU) a XVI owned by Temora Aviation Museum (who own the notorious sharks mouth VIII VH-HET) have just got her airworthy again and she has had her aviation certificates awarded so there'll be 2 Spits flying in Oz now

*well, in August! To be fair, TB863 was never unairworthy, just in transit across from Wanaka...

News isn't slow here it is non-existant. I just find things out by accident......

Maybe I ought to give you a news feed when Aeroplane and Flypast come out at the beginning of the month...

I was trying to make a connection with a low back XVI and didn't want to make a prat of myself by bring up TB863
