Too much talk of spits over the last 24 Hours, apparently there's a few fans of the type around.

So I pulled the covers off and took the RealAir Spit out over North Wales for  a wee thrash

Don't you just love that sound.. I grew up near one of the Rolls Royce Aero Engine factories and from time to time the Rolls Spit would drop in and perform a display or two, and let me tell you he was low!!!  the number of times I thought that's it, it's going in and it pulled out the loop etc.. . Awsome.. The sounds can never be taken away from you..

You need to thank Joe Smith for the Mk XIV, and for that matter the successful production of all Spitfires...

I've just spent 3 hours in my Plane Design XVI cruisin' my locale and practicing my take-offs and landings... I did one that was so perfect I wanted to cry! A perfect 3 pointer in a Spit

and i still prefer the realair to the plane design plane desing look incredible but its handeling is so..well....crappy compared to that of the real air spt..just need to find a slightly worn skin for the realair spit

Lol - funny you should say that. That's because the Plane Design's Spitfire's handling is actually realistic and hours and hours have been spent perfecting the flight model...

I know which one I prefer. I guess you'll just have to make sure you never fly a Spitfire for real...

Yes Spot on,  Thanks to Joe for making it what is was..

I must have a look at the plane design spit, the realair fly's real easy and as was mentioned is a bid shiney!! a more weathered look would be beter I think..

Did you try with the rear fuel tank full or empty?
By default it's full and it was not recommended to use the rear fuel tank except for "special operations" as it tends to have longitudinal unstability... read the manual for more details  ;)
