Choppering In Alaska

Postby Ecko » Mon Aug 07, 2006 10:48 am

Hi guys!

Here's some shots of a nice flight I had around Misty Fjords, in the DodoSim Bell 206.

Very nice shots, you'll get a bit chilly though flying around those mountains with the doors open ;D

Very nice shots. :)

I'm a little envious because no matter what I do, I remain unable to fly a chopper. Only to make lame crashes (not even spectacular crashes I can manage in those contraptions). No matter all the tries, the (virtual) lessons, the new foot-pedals, the realism sliders all to the left... helicopters and I are incompatible. :-/

Those shots are simply beautiful, is the scenery you're using also payware?

Doors, what doors? ??? ;)

I don't know what helos you've tried, but I can really recommend this one, the DodoSim Bell 206. The dynamics are much, much better, the model is superior, and the sounds are awesome! 8)

The default 206 I tried to fly yesterday, and while it was hard and very unrelistic, it can be done, however it isn't enjoyable, so what's the point.. :P

The default Robinson I rather like, and I definitely wouldn't have been able to fly the 206 and other larger choppers, if it wasn't for all the time I've spent in the R22.

Those shots are simply beautiful, is the scenery you're using also payware?

Yes, Misty Fjords by FSAddon, the reviews speak for themselves really - Outstanding.
