Hagar Hunting...
Posted: Sat Jun 03, 2006 8:28 amA beautiful day here in southern England. Got myself a new ride - what better way to test it out than a quick blast up the south coast to see if I can spot a Hagar (Latin for Doug 
) in it's natural habitat........
Todays steed:
Well the manual wasn't wrong when it said this bird has a 'critical wing' - it's sooooooo easy to stall - & this right here isn't the place to find out!!:
After a quick sweep around the airport & not spotting 'a Hagar' - I decided for another pass:
A bit closer, still no sign - maybe the Hagar has scarpered at the sound of the Lycoming engine - I can't believe that:
Time for another pass:
Oh well, no sign of the elusive Hagar today - but I did find this little number lurking at the Transair building:
Guess I'll have to check the webcam - see if he's on there.
