It was a stunning evening for a flight with generally clear, if a little hazy weather, with large mountains off to our 3 o'clock and the ocean to our 9 o'clock. The mountains had some thunderstorms that we could hear..... but no real weather issues on our flightpath this time.

As the sun went down the sunset was awesome. With still air there was plenty of time to sightsee a bit.

Jared was first for landing, followed very shortly after here by me. Flaps set full and just a tad high (but maybe not.......the ILS there has a 2.5 deg glideslope instead of 3). Jared was just pulling off the runway to the taxiway.

A bunch of us waiting on the tarmac for the straggler to show up. ;)

More of the SA Tour to follow, next Saturday evening. Join us.
best,
.........john
