Jakes Journey...2

...It was a DC-3!  I hadnt seen one for a while, unfortunately I had to stop flying them for a while to do some other work.  Well, as luck would have it the DC-3s owner needed the plane to be taken to Boise, but he wasn't able to fly it there himself (had a nasty cold :P).  So I told him of my experience, and he agreed to let me fly it to Boise, and I agreed to do it for free (minus fuel costs)

Walking around the plane, making sure everything is good (even tho the DC-3 is incredibly reliable, its still best to check it over really well)

Takeoff!

Its so great to fly a DC-3 again
Image

Idaho is beautiful (would you believe that the mesh is default?  Idaho is a 'hidden wonder' of the sim)
Image

Hello Boise Air Terminal!

Touchdown!

And parked, nice flight!  And the owner takes good care of his plane, no problems en route

Thanks for looking!  Im so sorry for the crappy story telling

Comments welcome!

Very nice Jake. I take it that's the MAAM DC-3? Didn't look like default..

I really like the South African Turbo Dakota...it looks really cool with modern avionics and all...Must see if there is one for FS...

Great shots too...I doubt those land textures are default though ;D ;)

MAAM DC-3 with Atlantic Air Cargo texture.  The only default is the mesh, the ground textures are Lennarts, sky is FSSkyworld with skylight clouds and sun.

BTW!  ATTN MAAM DC-3 OWNERS AND FUTURE OWNERS!  UPGRADE TO BE RELEASED DURING MAAMs WWII WARBIRD WEEKEND!  UPGRADE AND 9TH EDITION AVAILIABLE JUNE 2ND!

Jake, do you know if they will have the original boxed DC-3 for sale at the WWII Weekend? I'd like to pick it up. :)

Ah, yes... exploring your "own private Idaho" in a DC3... nice.
Good landing, too!

The windows will look right!  And again, I implore you, go to the MAAM website and download OY-BPB, it has the right windows
