More Alaskan Fun

The final hop of the day in my new ride, Junea Intl to Bear Camp.

Seeing as this was my last hop tonight, some of the pictures may be a tad dark on some monitors, but hey, thats nature for ya, I can't stop the sun going down - not at 140kias anyway ;D

Just as we left Juneau, heading home for the night, the weather had just started to close in:

Time to press on, before this develops into more 'sinister' weather:

Well the weather hasn't developed into much, but is sure is getting dark quick:

We still have to be wary of the clouds though - don't want to run into a 'granite cumulus':

Wow, this VC looks even better at night :D On top of the hill in front of us you can see Bear Camp. Although we have an 8kt wind at our 5 O'clock, I decide to fly left downwind rather than straight in:

Downwind leg:

Yet another 'late' touchdown - this little Cessna has been catching me out all day for some reason:

Miller Time :D:

Very nice. :) Is that a BFU airport? I just downloaded the BFU Quebec base. :)

Hi James,

The base is part of the Alaska Trophy Tours scenery by Micheal Carr, available at BFU.

The scenery comes with quite a few camps, it's worth downloading the map from BFU aswell - very handy for VFR, although all of the bases have NDB's that show up in the FS9 map.

Cheers,

TSC.
