With the price of gas these days headed higher and higher you'd think a guy could find some cheap stuff with a little searching.....but having to fly to another state..... ;D

If its the Lago one the yes. I had the lago falcon years ago and lost the codes which is really annoying, it really is great, well the refueling module anyway ;)

Great shots there too :)

Actually that's a good question.  I honestly don't know what variation of jet fuel they're using these days.  I think the Navy uses JP-7 or something like that and the AF uses something different.  I do know that many times the Guard and Reserve folks will just use plain old Jet-A since it's readily available at their bases which usually are located at civilian airports.

As far as the tanker goes it's just the KC-135R version from Project AI.  So no the boom does not extend, that would be the cat's meow if it did.  I just have to "pretend" I'm refueling.  But it is very challenging to stay right there behind the tanker in the correct position.  Makes you appreciate the folks that do it in real life.

The only "payware" in the shots is UT down on the ground which you really can't see anyway, just trying to stick to the official policy on payware.
