Flyboy_28 had some issues with my "first trap" post.... ...and he's successfully wound me up  ;D



So, I've shot another set just for James, not that it 'proves' anything really, still could have slewed, you'll have to take my word for it that I can land this beast  :)



I tried it again a few times tonight and found that the 'tailhook up' fault was with me... due to starting again from a save position (rather than slewing back, silly me)  my tailhook was up when I landed - yet ArrCab stopped the plane anyway, tailhook up wtf???



The tailhook animation is thus visible in Replay mode, but what's with the control surfaces in the replay?  :o



Before you ask... the 'replay numbers' are strange because I took pics from 2 replays, the second being started a few seconds after. It's the same landing. I know this kind of thing is important to some  ;)



Successful touch down... took a few attempts I have to say.



Last puffs of smoke dissolve into the air as she sinks into the deck. Must get those tyres pumped.



Great fun this, got to go and get more practice  :)

The tailhook is an animation so ArrCab doesn't detect it. Hence why I've got the An-225 on the deck
