The DC3 rolls away from the gate at 0926...
And in no time they're cruising at 7500.
Navigation is an easy affair on this one; the captain just follows the lake, which points straight towardsCimarron. Here they are approaching the bridge, halfway across the lake.
Rather than relying on a visual sighting of Cimarron in the mist filling the valley, the crew waits to intercept a radial from the Montrose VOR... as the needle centers, the captain bank right onto a new course.
