Very nice pictures. If I upgraded my video card to the X800-something, would I get detail like that?

No. :)

You need FS-GS system unification

It's not just the vid card ..... although you would see an improvement over the X700

Well yes and no.... You would need a steady frame rate of probably 25 in the heaviest of areas..... everything maxed out....... and a card with a lot of features, I have all the shaders etc of a 6600 and maybe some of the 6800 but ugh.... my card happens to be a hard locked 6600 did I mention they downclocked it and locked pipelines? My FS Can look like this at times, but the 9.5FPS explain it all  ;D Cheers, Gunny (I can go steady to about 4 FPS but for long periods you get a headache)

I love this obcession with frame rates.... they are almost completely irrelevant, smoothness is the key. I can slew round the aircraft smoothly wether I'm getting 10fps or 50fps and the scenery looks the same whatever. Occasionally I have to wait for things to catch up in heavily  textured areas but that would be the same for the majority of systems.

I am not frame rate obsessed but you need about 5-10 frame rates to work with in excess so that if an area goes mad, but you are right smoothness is the key, I can run down to about 4ish....... but I dont like it because I know any sudden jolt and my computer is gone  ;D.... Cheers, Gunny

What's up with that "digitalization" in the bottom of the last shot?

Nice shots, all of 'em

I hadn't noticed the pixelation ...... Just checked the original and the compressed shots, neither are corrupted. It must have happened during upload.

Can't see the last pic...but other than that...very nice...I don't care about FPS...I actually like to make my system suffer...like flying around heavily populated areas with 100% Ultimate Traffic AI...with FS9 maxed out...fun stuff ;D ;D
